hongkong prize

Hong Kong prize is a prestigious and competitive award that honours an individual or group who has made significant contributions to the science and technology field in Hong Kong. Anyone can be a nominee, including scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs and senior managers from scientific and technological institutions.

The HK$15 million hongkong prize is awarded to an individual, or an institution, in recognition of outstanding achievements. It is designed to reward individuals who have shown a high degree of performance, creativity and achievement in their research work. It is expected that the winning entries will demonstrate a breakthrough in science and technology and be of practical significance to society.

To apply for the hongkong prize, an application form should be filled in and submitted by September 30. The application form should include an abstract of the work to be presented and a brief description of how the award will benefit the candidate. The hongkong prize committee will evaluate the applications and decide on the winner based on these evaluation criteria.

Applicants should submit their original manuscripts in English. The manuscripts must be in a format that allows for peer review and verification. Submissions must be made online via the hongkong prize website, which is accessible at hongkongprize.com, and must not contain any material that is obscene or offensive to the public.

A scholarly article that explores any aspect of Hong Kong culture, history and society is eligible. Submissions should take Hong Kong as the primary subject of inquiry and should place Hong Kong in global, comparative and theoretical perspectives.

The submissions of scholarly articles will be evaluated by the hongkong prize selection committee and the Board. They will be reviewed professionally, objectively and fairly, based on strict scientific and rigorous standards.

Please note that no organization or individual will be permitted to exert undue influence on the selection or review process. In addition, the BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION PRIZE has established an independent review procedure, which will be implemented in accordance with the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the principles of good governance.

Upon receiving your submission, the hongkong prize committee will contact you to discuss its evaluation. Once the committee has determined whether your nomination meets its evaluation criteria, the nomination will be sent to the Board for approval.

The Board will then announce the winner of the hongkong prize. The winner will receive the award at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong.

In the event that the hongkong prize winner is unable to attend the award ceremony, they will be given the choice of receiving the award by video conference or by post. The hongkong prize committee will then provide the winner with a certificate and a cheque for the hongkong prize sum.
